Hicks Bay/Te Araroa singer-songwriter TOHU says his debut single out today is inspired by love.

TOHU, known in the hau kainga as Tamarakau Hiini, is part of the same community of talent that produced Rob Ruha and members of Ka Hao.

He says Nōku Nei Te Aroha is dedicated to his fiancé.

“I guess the kupu in the song came to reality. In April this year I got engaged to my beautiful loving partner Nadine which also gave this song its purpose,” he says.
