She says they’re consulting extensively to develop a new policy.
“It’s a bigger animal than I realised. Mark and I have struggled in this space to find accommodation between commercial fishing, recreational fishing and your customary fishing rights as was, as they are able to ensure we have enough fish around the country to feed everybody and not be pilfered,” she says.
