Te Rūnanga-Ā-Iwi O Ngāpuhi says a financial review spanning back seven years has found no incidences of dishonesty or fraud.
The review conducted by accounting firm Deloitte was ordered after the sudden resignation of former chair Sonny Tau.
Current chair Wane Wharerau says the review made recommendations on expenditure control, invoicing and financial reporting standards which will be implemented.
The board has also committed to implementing all 13 recommendations of a governance review completed in November 2020.
Mr Wharerau says the financial review should put to rest any allegations of impropriety or mismanagement of funds.
