Members of a Mt Roskill church have been asked to self isolate after it was identified as the centre of a mini-cluster connected to the South Auckland cluster.
Director-General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield says there are now 110 cases linked to the South Auckland cluster.
Two new cases were linked to it today, another is under investigation, and there were two imported cases picked up in managed isolation.
He says Auckland Regional Public Health Service has confirmed five people associated with Mt Roskill Evangelical Fellowship had been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past two or three days.
People who went to services held at the Stoddard Rd church on August 8, 9 and 11, and a wedding held at the church on August 7, are asked to stay at home and get tested.
