Apology enough for Destiny reset

JEVAN GOULTER INTERVIEW CLICK HERE
The facilitator of a hui at which Destiny Church head Brian Tamaki apologised to people who may have felt offended by his previous statements on homosexuality has defended the event.
Challenged by Radio Waatea host Claudette Hauiti that apologising for offence caused is not a proper apology, Jevan Goulter said Mr Tamaki made it clear he would not make such statements in future.
"I think it is an apology and I don't think people should confuse an apology for the way somebody has made somebody feel and an apology for 'actually I am going to change what my beleifs and convictions are.' I think those are two different things," he says.
Mr Goulter says there was no connection between the apology and the launch of the Coalition New Zealand Party headed by Hannah Tamaki, which he is the campaign manager for.
