Matt Osborne – Kaurna and Narungga – South Australia
Matt has been a member of the Fisheries Research and Development Corporation’s Indigenous Reference Group (IRG) since 2014. Matt is the Program Leader, Aquaculture and Regional Development in Northern Territory Fisheries (Australia) where he oversees a range of Aboriginal and industry development programs including; supporting small scale fishing and aquaculture operations in remote Aboriginal communities across the Northern Territory.
Matt is a graduate of the National Seafood Industry Leadership Program and holds a Bachelor (Hons) in Marine Biology from Flinders University. He has worked in a range of fields including strategic and business planning, facilitation, community engagement, cultural heritage and fisheries management and research.
