Tabuteau ousts Mark

New Zealand First's caucus has gone for generational change with the election of Fletcher Tabuteau as its deputy leader, ousting Ron Mark.
The Rotorua-based MP, who has Ngati Ngararanui, Ngati Rangiwewehi, and Ngati Whakaue descent, joined the party at its inception when he was still a teenager.
He is serving a second term as MP, and is Parliamentary Under-Secretary to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and to the Minister for Regional Economic Development.
Party leader Winston Peters says Mr Mark, who holds the Defence and Veterans Affairs portfolios, remains an integral member of the team.
