Davidson keeps the faith after Turei eclipse

Green MP Marama Davidson says she wants to keep faith with party supporters despite the shock departure of co-leader Metiria Turei.
Ms Davidson, who moves up to number two on the party list, says with just 29 days before special voting booths open, it's vital the party focuses on its main platforms.
That includes the campaign to end poverty, which she now has the lead responsibility for.
"We're all trying to work together to refocus our korero on those very priorities of cleaning our rivers, taking action on climate change and ending poverty, and I want to keep everybody's faith, those people who are looking at me to try to lead on these priorities for our people, I want to keep that faith and that is where my focus is, up until the election," she says.
Ms Davidson says there is no split between the Green's environmental and social justice arms.
