No go zone for MTS board

The Minister for Maori Development Te Ururoa Flavell, says he has no knowledge of the board of Maori TV vetoing the mockumentary series 'Jonah from Tonga but adds that it's not appropriate for a board to interfere in programming decisions.
" I wouldn't think that that's appropriate, that's not what happens. The content issues is for the programmers and the station itself to look after. So I haven't heard that and wouldn't expect that to happen,"says the Minister for Maori Development Te Ururoa Flavell.
The controversial mockumentary was pulled off air by the board of Maori TV after an episode screened last week, board chair Georgina Te Heuheu said the series didn't meet any of the channels objectives.
