Hauraki Waikato MP Nanaia Mahuta

Labour MP Nanaia Mahuta won the Hauraki Waikato seat from the current Maori Party president Tukoroirangi Morgan back in 1999.

At the recent Koroneihana Tuangahuru, Kiingi Tuheitia openly expressed his support for Maori – Mana Party alliance and said he would no longer support Labour.
