The Trust that runs Te Kura Hourua ki Whangaruru in the north is confident the kura will survive.
Deanne Brown who is chair of Nga Parirau Matauranga Trust which sponsors Te Kura Hourua ki Whangaruru says things have really moved on since a March audit which found fault with the school's management.
She says there have been lots of struggles but things are looking much better now.
Ms Brown says the bail-out was not for the Trust but for the kura
She says students who were failing in mainstream are now getting NCEA passes and thats what it is all about.
She is confident the school will survive beyond October when there will be another audit of its activitiies.
