Waipareira subsidiary signs with Callaghan Innovation

Waipareira’s Whanau Tahi subsidiary has signed a memorandum of understanding with the government’s research and development arm Callaghan Innovation.
Director Stephen Keung says the relationship will help Whanau Tahi to find wider markets for its software, which is designed to support kaimahi in organisations working with whanau.
The system, which is built on Microsoft’s customer relationship management platform, gives access to a wide range of databases and allows funders and whanau to track their journey.
Mr Keung says as one of the first such products to address the issues of multi-disciplinary teams rather than just health or social workers, it is picking up wider support.
" Well it started with a vision from Waipareira. They needed a solution for their some 200 kaimahi. Using the 1 tool was very very helpful. We have got 30 organisations throughout the country employing over 500 kaimahi. They are all working in there and enjoying the opportunity to work together with whanau " he says.
Stephen Keung says Whanau Tahi has made its first overseas sale to an organization assisting families in Atlanta, Georgia.
