Curtis dark horse politically

Actor Cliff Curtis denies he’s backing Mana this election, and says his vote will remain private.
Curtis, whose latest film The Dark Horse opens at cinemas around the country on Thursday, was touted as a special guest for his cousin Annette Sykes’s campaign launch yesterday.
He says that was a misunderstanding, and he does not endorse or support any political party.
While he respects all candidates who make the committment to stand for political office, his priority in life is his whanau, followed by his work as an artist.
Curtis says his politics centre around whanau, whenua and wairua, and his vote in the coming election will be based on the party and policies which he believes best reflect the needs of his whanau and community.
