Land issues ignored in budget

Maori lawyer and Treaty negotiator Willie Te Aho says while yesterday's budget is good for Maori as far as social issues go it ignores land issues.
Willie Te Aho says the future for Maori depends on addressing such hard issues.
" A Ministry of Agriculture report clearly said that $3bn worth of investment was needed. Its not going to be done this year but it is an issue that needs to be addressed because ultimately our economic future is in what we do with our lands" he says.
Willie Te Aho says issues around Maori housing issues also need to be addressed.
