Tomorrow’s games at Trusts Arena in Henderson will feature the return of the white-V-on-blue of the Auckland league rep jersey.
Māori Rugby League chair John Devonshire says the Māori sides were chosen from this year’s Tuakana Tournament in Rotorua, and the clash is creating a real buzz.
“To actually wear that jersey, go into camp, share the stories, and represent and haka up, its a wonderful experience and occasion, and that’s what its really all about – and we were happy to help the ARL with it,” he says.
Mr Devonshire expects physically challenging but open running footy.
