Auckland’s prospects of getting out of lockdown took another step back today with the confirmation of 33 new cases of Covid-19 in the community.
It’s the highest total for more than a week, and brings the total in the outbreak to 955, all but 17 in Tāmaki Makaurau.
Health authorities are reminding people across Auckland to get tested if they show symptoms or visited a location of interests, especially if they live in and around Massey, Favona, Henderson, Ōtara, Papatoetoe, Māngere and Manurewa.
