One last bash of Māori by this race baiting Government.
This time it’s the Treaty of Waitangi clause review that Luxon weakly promised Winston.

Ramming this review of 19 pieces of legislation through under urgency in the final week of Government is cowardice and begs two questions.
1 – what other racist crap will Luxon promise Winston if NZF hits double digits
2 – don’t you wish National could go back to an honourable relationship with Māoridom like Key, Like Christopher Finlayson, like Bolger, like Doug Graham rather than crapping on Māori constantly?
It is outrageous to push through deeply racist and controversial legislation in the last week of power just so NZF and ACT can go to their reactionary voter base with evidence they’ve beaten up Māori political aspiration.
That said, removing the Treaty from 19 pieces of legislation, abolishing the Māori electorates and abolishing the Waitangi Tribunal mean that if Māori weren’t engaged and ready to vote now when so much is at risk, I don’t know what will bring them out!
The Government also announced this week it is moving to ban voting rights for non-elected members of council committees!
How come with this Government it’s local decision making over central Government right up until locals decide to empower Māori, and then suddenly its Central Government taking all that local democracy away?
If Luxon was incapable of controlling NZF and ACT when they were 6% and 8%, how will he manage them when they are 13% and 9%?
