Green Party Co-Leader Chlöe Swarbrick has been ejected from Parliament for a second time after being named by Speaker Gerry Brownlee for disorderly conduct.

Her first ejection followed a speech on the State of Palestine, where she told coalition MPs to “grow a spine.”

She returned Wednesday but refused to apologise or leave, prompting the Speaker to act again.

“The question is that Chloe Swarbrick be named, those in favor will say Aye, (Aye). Contrary, (Nay). The ayes have it, and the member will leave the house. Free Palastine”

The Speaker will decide when she can return.

New Zealand First leader Winston Peters backed her right to debate—but the Party still voted for her removal.
