The Salvation Army’s Winter Appeal is an annual fundraising campaign focused on supporting Kiwi families and individuals facing hardship during the colder months. The appeal provides essential winter support through:

Transitional housing – emergency, short-term accommodation for people in crisis.

Wraparound support services – including food parcels, financial mentoring, counseling, advocacy, and connections to other community or iwi resources. These services continue for up to 12 weeks after moving into stable housing .
