The Warriors will have two captains leading the charge in 2025, with coach Andrew Webster appointing James Fisher-Harris and Mitch Barnett to share the role after Tohu Harris’ forced retirement.
Harris announced his retirement in early January due to ongoing wrist injuries.
Webster says the duo naturally stepped up as leaders, describing them as “yin and yang” off the field but a powerful combination on it.
He has no concerns about a power struggle, with the pair set to split responsibilities.
The first time the Warriors had co-captains was in 2001 when Stacey Jones and Kevin Campion led the team to the 2002 Grand Final.
