The Aotearoa Women’s All Black Sevens are still top of the table despite losing last weekend’s Perth leg of the HSBC World Sevens competition.
This past weekend, the Women’s All Black Sevens fell to our Australian neighbors in a thrilling final, 28-26, with a missed conversion by Risi Pouri-Lane being the difference.
In the overall rankings, Aotearoa is first with 56 points, Australia is second with 54 points, and France is third with 48 points.
Our Men’s team, however, is ranked seventh, finishing 10th overall after winning only one pool game.
The next tournament will be the Vancouver Sevens in Canada, held from February 21 to 23.
