Waatea Digital on the ground in Wellington

Waatea Digital is live in Wellington following the Hikoi and getting the news as it happens to our viewers. Since early morning people have been gathering in Wellington. Waatea has a team on the ground led by our Editor-in-Chief who also produces our te reo Māori news and current affairs Reuben Epiha alongside the only Māori Iwi Radio representative in Parliament political reporter Claudette Hauiti. On the ground is reporter Atereano Mateariki, digital producer Rebel Reid and Ngawai Wikaire.
