Black Caps sweep series, eye Halberg Award

Wrapped up on Sunday, the three day test series saw the Black Caps sweep India 3-0, with left armed spin bowler Ajaz Patael bowling out 11 batters in the final two innings.
Peter McDermott says the series was comprehensively New Zealand’s to win from the outset, with Indian captain Virat Kohli under performing.
“He has been one of the best batsmen for four or five years. He only averaged 15 runs in six innings against our guys, and they worked them out. And somewhere in there, there’s someone that’s done a really good job of working out how to play against Indians in India. And I’ll tell you what, if he could bottle it and sell it, he’d make a lot of money around the cricket world,” says McDermott.
