Commentator Ken Laban says securing the services of Penrith prop James Fisher-Harris, of Ngāpuhi, is a good start to what needs to be a wider rebuild of the Warriors’ strike force.
The team has struggled for form this year, and it’s losing Shaun Johnson to retirement and Addin Fonua-Blake to Cronulla.
“So there are some challenges for the recruitment process for the Warriors. James Fisher-Harris in my view is the beginning .. he needs to be the beginning, not the end of the recruitment process, to turn the Warriors around in 2025,” he says.
Erin Clark, the son of Silver Ferns’ great Temepara Bailey. is set to play for the Warriors at dummy half or lock next season – but Ken Laban says the team still looks weak in some positions.
