Over 300 kaimahi from Te Aka Whaiora-the Māori Health Autthority transitioned to Te Whatu Ora at a whakatau held at Pipitea Marae Pōneke yesterday. This almost completes the dismantling of Te Aka Whai Ora which was one of the Coalition Government's priorities in its first 100 days. The final disestablishment will be the dissolving of the Board in June. Claudette Hauiti spoke with Te Aka Whaiora CEO Riana Manuel, Board Chair Tipa Mahuta and Chief Medical Officer Dr Rawiri McKree Jansen.
