Māori trade unionist Syd Keepa says workers need to be ready for a fight under a National-ACT-New Zealand First Government.’
The CTU vice president Māori says National is determined to unwind fair pay laws and bring back the 90-day trials for new workers.
“Of course ACT and National support the companies, they don’t support the workers on the floor so all they are looking at is how they can make their rich mates get richer,” Mr Keepa says.
He says it took Labour almost five years to get its reform through, and only one fair pay deal for bus drivers got settled before the election.
