Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei has given New Zealand Fashion Week a new name – Kahuria.
It’s a reference to Te Kahu Tōpuni o Tuperiri, the hapu’s name for central Tāmaki Makaurau.

Fashion Week is at the Viaduct Events Centre from August 29 to September 2.
