Kaiwhakahaere Kerri Nuku says while nurses within Te Whata Ora received interim backpay, the final amount still needs to agree upon, while midwives have no agreement at all on equity.
“The issue becomes who is looking at parity, who is looking at fairness, and how come we keep delaying the process for nurses and midwives,” she says.
