Download AudioSinger-songwriter Anna Coddington says a new all-woman show will bring a different kind of magic to stages around Aotearoa.
She’s part of the Tuawahine line-up brought together by Ria Hall that also includes Anika Moa and Tami Neilson.
The show includes reimagined classics, original songs, and waiata.
She says it will be a night out to encourage and celebrate all women.
“When women and gender diverse people are in those situations without men they can behave a little bit differently, be a little bit more of themselves connection that we have as wahine and I think it does come into this show and you can feel it from the audience and it’s quite special, it’s a different kind of magic,” Coddington says.
Tuawahine is in Auckland on March 2, the following night in Havelock North and March 10 in Wellington.
