It’s a big day for Waikato Māori health provider Te Kōhao Health.
Managing director Lady Tureiti Moxon is signing the contract with builders for a health and wellness diagnostic centre at Kirikiriora Marae, which is set for completion early in 2024.
“It’s the first time Māori, in this region anyway, will have our own x-ray centre, diagnostic centre, and we will have a very close working relationship with Pacific Radiology and with the DHB or as it’s now Te Aka Wahi Ora. It’s very exciting but finally we are there,” she says.
