Mahuta keen to move on after Brown slurs dismissed

Cabinet minister Nanaia Mahuta says it’s time to move on after the Public Service Commission found there was no favouritism, bias or undue influence in the awarding of contracts to companies of family members.
The Hauraki-Waikato MP says she, her husband Gannin Ormsby and his company disclosed any potential conflicts of interest when the contracts were considered.
“There’s no place to hide if you’re Maori because we’re too small a community. Everyone’s declared their conflicts. but time in, time out, Simeon Brown the National MP made accusations that were clearly quite deliberately damaging so I’m glad we can draw a line in the sand now that report’s out. I’m certainly wanting to move on as we go into Christmas and the new year,” she says.
