A new series of COVID-19 announcements produced for the Ministry of Health are going viral, as they say.

They feature 8-year-old Whanganui tamariki Panatahi Firmin, who has established a social media presence with his short video clips on his Being Panatahi Facebook page about his whānau’s back to the land sustainable lifestyle.

Now he’s starring in a series of short clips made by Mahi Tahi Media about how to avoid spreading the coronavirus.

The first one, about how to cough and sneeze safely, was viewed more than 2 million times in three days and has more than 15,000 shares.
He also has advice about how long to wash your hands: "Until COVID's over."
