Waipareira's software development subsidiary Whanau Tahi has bought 100 percent of SimplHealth, the company behind the technology powering New Zealand’s ePrescription Service.

Managing director Ray Noonan says the merged company will offer a comprehensive portfolio of products and services focused on personal, whanau and community centric health and well-being.

Whanau Tahi has developed the systems used by whanau ora providers to manage and report on client needs and service delivery.

Mr Noonan says up to now its focus has been connected care, which will be enhanced by SimplHealth’s considerable expertise in medications intelligence, health services information and payment management.
