Water Science Laboratory

Winiata Marae in Taihape is hosting Aotearoa’s first marae-based water science laboratory, launching this week. The lab, housed in a prefab, aims to blend mātauranga Māori and Western science to educate mana whenua, kaiako, and rangatahi about local river systems.
