Two major reviews have led to the legislation the Pae Ora (Healthy Futures) Act 2022 which came into effect on July 1, 2022 signalling substantial changes to the health system in Aotearoa NZ.
- Radio Waatea is Auckland's only Māori radio station that provides an extensive bi-lingual broadcast to its listeners. Based at Nga Whare Waatea marae in Mangere, it is located in the middle of the biggest Māori population in Aotearoa.
