Te Tuhi o te Whenua

This weekend Ngāti Kuia and the iwi of Te Tauihu o te Waka-a-Māui celebrated the opening of Te Tuhi o te Whenua: Pakohe Unearthed, a new exhibition at Nelson Provincial Museum that celebrates the strength, versatility and resilience of pakohe and the people who have worked it over hundreds of years.
