Whanganui iwi share Pākaitore history with tamariki
A commemoration was held this week for the start of the 79-day occupation of Pakaitore-Moutoa Gardens in Whanganui - and one of protest leaders says he still hopes all stolen iwi land in the rohe will be returned.
- Radio Waatea is Auckland's only Māori radio station that provides an extensive bi-lingual broadcast to its listeners. Based at Nga Whare Waatea marae in Mangere, it is located in the middle of the biggest Māori population in Aotearoa.
