Janet Hetaraka has edited a book which is accompanying a touring exhibition called Me Anga Whakamua – Facing the Future that explores the enduring impact of the first encounters between Māori and Europeans, it opens at the New Zealand Portrait Gallery Te Pūkenga Whakaata in Wellington today.
