Reo symposium honours past while looking forward
An organiser of Ngāti Kahungunu Inc's Te Reo Ki Tua! Symposium in Hastings next month says it will be a chance to acknowledge some of those who fought to revitalise the language.
- Radio Waatea is Auckland's only Māori radio station that provides an extensive bi-lingual broadcast to its listeners. Based at Nga Whare Waatea marae in Mangere, it is located in the middle of the biggest Māori population in Aotearoa.
