Old Black Cloud: A cultural history of mental depression in Aotearoa New Zealand, is the first-ever social history of mental depression in New Zealand and is based on author Associate Professor Jacqueline Leckie’s long-term research, teaching and writing in social history and anthropology.
- Radio Waatea is Auckland's only Māori radio station that provides an extensive bi-lingual broadcast to its listeners. Based at Nga Whare Waatea marae in Mangere, it is located in the middle of the biggest Māori population in Aotearoa.
