Cervical cancer tests funded for Māori
The Ministry of Health's is to fully fund a new cervical screening programme and human papillomavirus (HPV) self-testing for wāhine Māori, Pasifika, community service card holders, and those who have never been screened or haven’t been tested in the past five years.
- Radio Waatea is Auckland's only Māori radio station that provides an extensive bi-lingual broadcast to its listeners. Based at Nga Whare Waatea marae in Mangere, it is located in the middle of the biggest Māori population in Aotearoa.
