The government says the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Aotearoa and the United Kingdom will come into force at the end of this month. The deal will eventually eliminate tariffs on all kiwi exports to the UK, saving exporters around 37 million a year.
- Radio Waatea is Auckland's only Māori radio station that provides an extensive bi-lingual broadcast to its listeners. Based at Nga Whare Waatea marae in Mangere, it is located in the middle of the biggest Māori population in Aotearoa.
