Private funding needed for science education
The creator of House of Science hopes local funding can be found to keep her organisation's bilingual science resource kits in Hutt Valley schools.

Facing a challenge with the impending cessation of financial support from Hutt City Council and Upper Hutt Council after 9 years for their programme which provides bilingual curriculum based science resource kits for tamariki.
- Radio Waatea is Auckland's only Māori radio station that provides an extensive bi-lingual broadcast to its listeners. Based at Nga Whare Waatea marae in Mangere, it is located in the middle of the biggest Māori population in Aotearoa.
