TJ Perenara used the All Black haka to support last week’s hīkoi to Parliament. Haka expert Paora Sharples (Faculty of Arts) says the haka in rugby is the right place for political expression, and All Black social media should never have cut Perenara’s words, including a reference to te Tiriti.
