A first-of-its-kind bilingual course in Rotorua is helping migrant learners connect more deeply with Aotearoa’s bicultural identity. The ten-week programme, combining English language skills with te reo Māori, has seen participants from across the world learn pepeha, explore Te Arawa history and stories, and gain a nationally recognised qualification to support future work or study.
