Ngāti Whātua waka heads for Barcelona cup regatta
A crew from Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei with the waka Te Kawau are heading for Barcelona to support Team New Zealand in the America's Cup regatta, which starts in two weeks.
- Radio Waatea is Auckland's only Māori radio station that provides an extensive bi-lingual broadcast to its listeners. Based at Nga Whare Waatea marae in Mangere, it is located in the middle of the biggest Māori population in Aotearoa.
