NASA trip set up for deep space listening
A Māori astrophysicist is looking forward to seeing how NASA communicates with its most distant missions.

He has just been named as one of NZ’s top tertiary students selected for internships at US Space Agency NASA. The internship starts next month, lasts 3 months, and is a part of the New Zealand Space Scholarship.
- Radio Waatea is Auckland's only Māori radio station that provides an extensive bi-lingual broadcast to its listeners. Based at Nga Whare Waatea marae in Mangere, it is located in the middle of the biggest Māori population in Aotearoa.
