$85 million loss forces TVNZ to shut down 1News website
Media woes continue to plague the industry, with TVNZ announcing plans to shut down its 1News website next year to save $30 million.

- Radio Waatea is Auckland's only Māori radio station that provides an extensive bi-lingual broadcast to its listeners. Based at Nga Whare Waatea marae in Mangere, it is located in the middle of the biggest Māori population in Aotearoa.
