Waitangi ki Manukau is back!
After three years of Covid-19 and weather disruption, the free Waitangi Day festival will be held at a new venue, the Manukau Sports Bowl.
Festival programmer Dena Jacob says the headliners are Savage, Che Fu & The Kratez. Annie Crummer, Lost Tribe Aotearoa, Lomez Brown, Rei and Jamey Ferguson!
There will also be educational activities for tamariki and whanau, including poi and mahi rāranga.
“It’s feeling really summery at the moment so I’m looking forward to having a skank outside and the park and having a kai and getting some knowledge,” Ms Jacob says.
