The Government has announced an extension to the Auckland Flood Recovery Fund following strong feedback from affected communities. The move ensures whānau who are still navigating insurance delays and ongoing repairs can access additional support heading into summer. Auckland Council says the extension is a “huge relief” for families who have been living in temporary accommodation since last year’s extreme weather.
